Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here today with a springy, fresh floral card which can fit any occasion. And who does not need these cards in their stash?
I started with stamping and colouring one of the pretty bunch of flowers from the Sweet Bouquets stamp set using Copic markers. I cut it out with the coordinating dies and also cut a ribbon which I coloured yellow.
Then I die cut a stitched Arch tag from cream cardstock and a bigger one from dark pink and layered them on top of each other. I stamped the sentiments with Evergreen Bough distress oxide ink on the tag and adhered the floral bouquet.
I was a bit struggling with the background as I wanted some texture, but not too much. First I thought of stenciling but I changed my mind and rather went with a tone on tone die cut panel. I used the Basket Cover die to cut an A2 sized card front from mint cardstock and layered it on a mint card base.
I popped up the tag in the middle of it using 3D foam tape. I added a coat of clear shimmer to the flowers and emphasized some of the details with glossy accents. I also added Glossy Dots in pink and gold as embellishment.
I hope you got inspired today and will indulge in colouring some of these gorgeous floral images. Show us what you create in our Facebook group, we love to see your art.
Till next time, happy crafting!
