Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m sharing a sneak peek of the beautiful Flower Cover Dies available this month on release day. I’m in LOVE with this large cover die. Making a stunning floral card has never been easier.
I started my card off by die cutting the large cover die twice on white card stock. I adhered these two pieces together to give my cover some thickness. I pulled out a fun background panel I created awhile ago using the Pink and Main Sprinkles background stamp and distress oxide inks. I stamped the background with Versamark ink and sprinkled on some sparkly embossing powder. This panel was perfect to use because it gives my card some sparkle under my flowers however it doesn’t compete with the design of my card. I adhered this flowery panel to a white card base.
For added color I die cut three additional flowers from the flower dies in this set. I colored two of them with abandoned coral and wild honey distress oxide inks. The other one I colored with tumbled glass. I adhered these flowers to a few already on the cover plate and added some black sequins to be the middle of these flowers. A simple greeting from the Party Balloons stamp set was the final touch to this card.
You can really see the sparkles of the sprinkles in this shot of my card. It’s so pretty. Adding really soft backgrounds with texture is a perfect pair for this flower cover dies set.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please leave us a comment on how you would use this beautiful set. Have a great day everyone.
