Hello friends – Bri here! I am back today to share Valentine’s Day card designs featuring the Bear Hugs Set from Pink and Main. Keep reading below for more details on how I made these lovely mini cards.
The adorable bear images from the Bear Hugs Set were all colored with Copic markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. There are a total of four bears in this set but I only used three of them. Each bear image has a cute little accessory (like a heart, flowers, and chocolate dipped strawberry) and I thought the new Fun Lattice Layering Stencils worked perfectly with these cuddly animals.
The Fun Lattice Layering Stencils come with three optional designs to coordinate with the lattice background so I paired the flower background with the bear holding the roses, the heart background with the two bears holding the heart, and the butterfly background with the bear holding the strawberry. The designs were ink blended onto the mini card fronts that measure 2.75″ by 5.5″. The lattice design was ink blended with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink and the other designs used Barn Door.
The sentiment strips were created with the Extra Large Sentiment Strip Dies and Large Sentiment Strip Dies. I heat embossed the sentiments from the Bear Hugs Set with white embossing powder onto bright red cardstock. Once the backgrounds dried I attached the sentiment strips and bear images to the mini cards using foam tape. For final touches, I added brown enamel dots from the Floral Hearts Glitter Enamel Dots pack for embellishment to coordinate with the bears.
