Beardy Birthday

Hey lovelies, It is Tracy here with you today sharing a card I created with the upcoming new release which drops tomorrow and will be able to be found here.

I had to use the brilliant Timber set as my hubby has a beard and Ive always struggled to find stamps for him regarding being bearded that aren’t viking themed…dont get me wrong he loves the viking themed ones, its just nice to have something a bit different 🙂

I started off by stamping and colouring the image using Spectrum Noir Markers, I then used the matching dies to cut it out.

I then took the new Herringbone stencil and using white dye ink, I inked onto some grey card stock….I love this color combo. I left that to dry and then die cut the piece out using the new Stitched Rectangles die set.

For the sentiment I knew I wanted to curve it around the vellum circle that I die cut so using my Tim Holtz Stamping platform I curved the stamp and stamped it using black ink.

I popped the stencilled piece up with some foam tape onto the A2 top folding note card and then adhered the vellum circle flat, adding a bit more dimension I used foam tape on the image.

To finish the whole card off I added some Nuvo Drops.

This is such an awesome release and has so much variety, I cannot wait to see what you all buy and create with it.
