Autumn Blessings

Hey there, happy Tuesday! Katie here today with a card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. I couldn’t resist the cuteness.

For this card, I stepped away from my traditional Copics and decided to use my Prismacolor Pencils. I do prefer Copics, I have more skill blending with them, but it is fun to mix it up sometimes. This card features the Cocoa For You Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set. After stamping, coloring and die cutting my images, I worked on the background. I took a sheet of white paper and used my Layered Oval Die to create my own stencil, then using my Mini Ergo Blending Brush and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide, I created the outline. Then I layered on the Curly Waves Stencil to with some Lavender and a light layer of Burlap ink to create the effect of wind blowing across. I spritzed the paper a bit and let it dry.

Next, I added a few strips of Wildflowers and Streetlight Cardstock in strips and adhered it with my EZ Tear Tape. I stamped my sentiment with black ink and then stamped a few of the swirls with colored ink. I cut a slit in the top of my cup and added my sunflowers into it. Then I mounted my images using foam tape. This layer was placed on a bit of Pebble Cardstock and then mounted on a white base.

Well, I hope you like this fun and bright fall card. I wanted to share a sneak peek with you of new products, but as I have been down with Covid, I didn’t get to play with them in time to give you a sneak. Hopefully you can forgive me and enjoyed this card.

Thank you for visiting and please visit the Shop for these goodies and hit up YT, IG and FB for more inspiration! ~Katie
