Another card using Zig Clean Real Brush Pens…

… because I love these pens/markers and am using them on every card I make recently!

It’s Michelle here today and for today’s card, I continued with the beachy/summer/water theme from the set of cards I shared earlier this week. This time, I used the Mermaids stamp set from Pink and Main.

I created a small scene of silhouetted sea plants and creatures using the smaller stamps in the set. Then, I used my Zig markers to create a watercolor background. To do this, I just scribbled a couple of colors right over my stamping. It will look like a HOT MESS. I think the photo below proves that well.

But not to worry!! Once you start adding water, the colors blend sooo beautifully. Which you can see below 🙂

Then, I stamped and colored the dolphin stamp onto a separate piece of watercolor paper and cut that out so he could be floating/jumping around the underwater scene I created.

Hope this card gives you some more inspiration on how to use these markers, which cardmakers (including me) are falling in love with recently!
