Hello there! Katie here today with a beautiful card to share. I often go for cute and cuddly, but today I am going for elegant and floral.

I just love the colors, patterns, a bit of sparkle and the shine of the embossing powder, all of it! I hope you don’t think I am tootling my horn too much, but it is just so outside my typical style.

To make this card, I started by using my Misti and stamping the images from Cherry Blossom stamp set onto white paper and using versamark ink. Then I used some Copper Wow Embossing Powder to set the images to create and elegant bark. Then I colored the images using my Copics (YG17, YG25, Y13, Y15, Y35). I used the Cherry Blossom Coordinating Die set to cut the images out and set them aside. Next, I used the new Deco Stencil with my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brushes and Distress Inks (Pistachio, Lemonade, & Salty Ocean) to ink up my backdrop. Then I used the Layered Slim Line Dies for the frame. I stamped the sentiment in black and mounted that layer on my white base. Then I placed my flowers around. I finished it by adding some Happy Mail Glitter Enamel Dots.
