Aloha

Happy Wednesday to you my friends! I have a fun sneak peak for you today. This card features a new stamp and die set being released on Friday. This one is called Aloha Flowers.

These images are so beautiful and were so fun to color with my Copics. I stamped them with my Misti, cut them out with coordinating dies and colored them with Copics (YG03, YG06, YG07, YG09, YG17, YG23, G09, G28, YR15, Y35, Y38, R14, R46, RV14, RV17, RV19, RV24). I cut a square of paper from the Happy Paper Pad and mounted it on the white base with my EZ Tear Tape. Then I used some yellow cardstock and stamped the sentiment, I cut some banner ends on it and mounted it to the card. I used the same CS and die cut the sentiment from the Aloha Dies. I used my Mini Ergo Blending Brush and some Coral Distress oxide to add some color. I added this to my card with some foam tape. I added some white gel highlights to my images and mounted them at the top and bottom using more foam tape. Then, I added some Starlight Gems using my EZ Squeeze Craft Glue.

I love how this turned out, the colors are so pretty, bright and happy. It truly feels tropical to me. It makes me want to be on the beach sipping a cocktail and enjoying the sun. What do you think? Does it transport you somewhere special or make you want to take a trip? Where to?
