Hello, Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a look at an adorable new stamp set that comes with coordinating dies.
I have long been a fan of Lewis Caroll’s books, and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is one of my favourites. I read it as a child and have fond memories of reading it to all of my children.
I have created a little scene card, using some of my favourites from the many images on the Wonderland stamp set.
To create this card, I paired the stamp set with papers from the Something Whimsy paper pad, matching the copic colours to the flowers, and using a google search of the original movie to help with colour choices for the different characters. I can’t believe the numbers of markers I used for this one small scene! Once everything was coloured, I cut all the pieces using the matching dies. What a time saver!
I altered the flower paper just a little by adding horizontal lines in black marker, so that it matched with the strong lines of the card base.
You might spot a couple of extra visitors in the photo above. I’m looking forward to making a card with this pair in the near future.
This release has so much to love. Make sure you visit the online store once the release is live. (That reminds me – there’s a bricks and mortar store coming! I may have to visit the USA to visit the store!!!)
Until next time, ” A very merry unbirthday to you all”
Blessings,
Pretty card! Love the little scene you created
Have a great day!
