A Sneak Peek from the Pumpkin Patch

Hi, everyone! Samantha here today on the Pink and Main blog excited to share a sneak peek from the upcoming August release dropping this Friday, August 16th. Who is ready to start working on Fall cards!?!?

Today I am sharing a project I made featuring the new Pumpkin Patch Cuties Stamp Set and corresponding Pumpkin Patch Die Set. There are several cute critters and Fall images in this set and I decided to use a few in a layout made with the new Card Cut Essentials Dies Set 1. This is one of two Essentials Dies Sets that have everything you need to create funlayouts.

To start, I first stamped my images in espresso dye ink onto Copic X-Press It cardstock before coloring each image and cutting them out with the corresponding dies. I stepped things up a bit by adding a simple plaid pattern to the bear’s scarf using a gold gel pen.

Next… I focused on layout. Using kraft cardstock, I die cut two elements from the Card Cut Essentials Dies Set 1 along with a second additional set of dies cuts from scrap cardstock to use as a backing for dimension. I also selected two complementary pattern papers, an adorable acorn paper from the new Hello Fall Paper Pack and a polka dot paper from the The World To Me 6×6 Paper Pad.

Once I had all of my paper’s selected and die cut, I worked on assembly. I cut the acorn paper into an A2 sized panel. Next, I glued together my square window frame die cuts before adhering the polka dot pattern paper to the back and trimming off the excess with scissors. I then adhered everything as shown in the images with a combination of craft glue and foam tape.

Once everything was assembled, I stamped a sentiment from the Pumpkin Patch Cuties Stamp Set onto white cardstock in espresso ink, die cut it out using the Large Sentiment Strip Dies, and adhered it to the stitched strip at the bottom of my layout. I then attached my card-front to an A2-sized, folding card-base and complete.

Time to make some more Fall cards!
