A Masculine Yappy Birthday!

Hi everyone!!  Jackie G here today to share a simple masculine card with you using the Pattern Maker stamp set, Diggity Dog stamp and die set and the new Surface Inks!! So let’s get started!!

I love the Patter Maker stamp set.  It’s really great to be able to make your own patterned paper with the ink colors of your choice.  I used the Surface Ink colors Riverwalk and Skyscraper along with some Memento Black Ink to set my scene.  I didn’t want my lines to be parallel or perfect so I stamped them slightly in different directions for a fun look.  These pigmented inks are fantastic!!

I wanted my little dog to stand out against all the patterns so I cut out a black circle using the stitched circle die and popped him up on some foam tape.  Stamped the “yappy birthday” sentiment in the bottom left hand corner and finished the card off with some simple highlights using a white gel pen.  This card was so incredibly easy and took less than 10 minutes to create!!
