Hey friends, it’s Ashley here on the blog today! Today I am sharing a very bright and colorful card that can be used for many different occasions.
To create the background I blended together some Distress Oxide inks on a piece of watercolor paper. I then used a polka-dot stencil and transparent paste to add some texture.
For the sentiment I cut the Celebrate die a few times out of white cardstock and glued them together to make a dimensional piece. I glued that to the middle out my background.
I stamped a smaller sentiment from the Celebrate stamp set onto black cardstock with Versamark ink and embossed it in white. I cut that sentiment down into a strip and popped it up under the larger sentiment.
I took the whole panel and popped it up onto a card base with foam tape. To finish up the card I went over the smaller sentiment with a glitter brush and I added some Silver Glossy Hearts.
