Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here today with a very cheerful birthday card for little or not so little boys. The stamp set I used is an older one but matches perfectly the new release!
I started with stamping and colouring some of the images from the Birthday kids stamp set. I used my Copic markers to add colour an kept the piece of patterned paper from the It’s a Party pad in front of me for reference. I cut the images with their coordinating dies.
Then I die cut 3 Cloudy frames from bright blue cardstock and layered them on top of each other. I did the same with the Celebrate sentiment: I die cut one from gold glitter cardstock and 5 more from white cardstock (I like to recycle for this packaging materials) When stacking them together I made sure to cut off those edges on 3 layers which would be already on the frame. In this way I got a really dimensional but not floating sentiment!
I assembled the card using 2 layers of vellum in the opening of the frame to mute the patterned paper. Some images I adhered flat, some I popped up with 3D foam squares. I also stamped an extra sentiment on the bottom of the vellum using Staz-on ink and the Celebrate stamp set. A bit of clear shimmer and glossy accents finished off this happy card.
I hope you liked today’s inspiration and will come back soon for more!
See you,
Zsofi
I think this is so Super cute!!
