Hello, friends and welcome back!! Laurie here today to share a celebratory card made using some older goodies as well as some new ones!! I love mixing and matching my older and newer sets!
I thought it would be fun to stamp one of the cute kitties from the Catitude Stamp Set and have it holding one of the balloons from the new Party Balloons Stamp Set. I coloured the kitty with some warm grey alcohol markers and used the co-ordinating die to cut her out! This particular kitty stamp is holding a little flag which was easy to mask off before stamping. Any little imperfections in the stamping were covered by the balloon string!
I used the large “celebrate” stamp from the new Celebrate Stamp Set and used two different pink inks to create an ombre look. I used the same inks on the balloon. I created a small background for the cat by masking off a small portion for grass and then added some clouds using the Clouds Stencil and Broken China Distress Ink. Everything was adhered with white craft foam to give a little extra pop!
To finish off, I used a few beautiful Silver Glossy Hearts and some shimmer pen on the balloon and sentiment.
