Pretty Jar Shaker Card

Hey everyone. It’s Dana back with you today. I’m sharing the beautiful new Pretty Jars stamp set and coordinating dies. When I say this stamp set I knew I wanted to make a pretty shaker card with it. I pulled out my Copic markers, crafting knife and got busy.

I stared out by stamping the jar onto 80 lb Neenah Solar White card stock with black ink and ran it through my die cutting machine with the coordinating die. Next I used my crafting knife to trim out the middle of the jar so I could have an opening to add some sequins. I flipped over the jar and added a piece of acetate to the back of it. I carefully used thin pieces of double sided foam tape and went along the edge of the jar. I filled the inside of the jar with pink and red sequins and a few red hearts. To seal the jar I used another piece of white paper cut to the same size as the jar to keep all the sequins contained.

Next I stamped out the stamped out the label and die cut it out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the miss you sentiment onto the table and colored in around the scalloped frame with Copic markers. I also stamped out the top of the jar and colored it with shades of red and pink Copics. I added some white dots with a gelly roll pen. I die cut this out and popped it on top of the jar. Now the shaker jar was completed.

To finish off the card I trimmed down a piece of designer paper and placed it on a red piece of cardstock. I added this panel to a white card base. All that was left was to pop up my shaker jar and my card was done. With this stamp set it’s so easy to make beautiful cards or shaker cards. In the set itself there is also a flower bouquet. You could easily do this same technique adding the flowers inside of the lid and fill the jar with clear sequins.

Thanks so stopping by today. I’ll see you back here real soon. Have a great day everyone.
