Hello! Donna here again, with another Christmas card.
Hasn’t this September release been so much fun?
I’m still really enjoying playing with them, and have especially loved the good mix of summer and winter images. Today I have a warm sunny card for you!
I’ve paired the bright sunny yellow zigzag paper from the Beach Babe Paper pad with the sunny palm tree image from the Deck the Palms stamp set.
I used the Sunny cover die to give the sun rays the background, I cut this die twice; once from white card and once from the Beach Babe paper. I then used an inlay die technique to sit the background all on one level. I coloured the Christmas image, matching the tones of the yellows to the paper. I cut this out with the matching die ( I know it’s a recurring theme, but I am in love with matching dies!）and popped this up with some foam tape.
The sentiment is white heat embossed on black paper. I can’t stop using black for my sentiments, as I just love the look of the splash of black on cards.
