Hi, everyone! It’s Lynnea and I have a sneak peek at one of my most FAVORITE Christmas stamp sets! It’s called Sweet Christmas and it’s full of all kinds of yummy Christmas treat images! It’s part of the Pink & Main September release which will be available in the New Release section of the shop on September 20th! You don’t want to miss it!
I started with a card base made from Bristol Smooth cardstock and used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp a row of the Christmas cookie icons from the Sweet Christmas stamp set. I also added two sentiments below the cookies and heat embossed everything with clear embossing powder.
I used watercolor brush pens to color in all the images. Nothing too fancy – I wanted to keep to a traditional color scheme – so I used a light brown for my cookies, green for the tree icing, and red for the circle cookie icing. Once the color dried I went in with a white gel pen and added white dots to the the ornaments on the tree cookie and to the garland and colored in the snowflake. I gave everything a healthy coating of Glossy Accents and finished off with some Antique Gold Nuvo Drops!
I don’t know about you, but I make a TON of Christmas cards to send to friends and family and this is a PERFECT card to mass produce! You can use a stamp positioner and make a bunch super quickly! Thanks for joining me for this card tutorial! Make sure you check out the Sweet Christmas stamp set and the rest of the release on the 20th!
