Hi,
I would like to share with you card which I made with the newest stamp set – Sending Waves and Sending Waves Dies.
I used Stitched Rounded Square Dies.
For background paper – the first layer – I used paper from paper pad Shades of spring.
For background I used masking technique. I taped masking tape, than I stamped flip flops with Versa Mark embossing ink and I heat embossed it with white embossing ink. Than I took Distress oxide inks – Wilted violet and Worn lipstick and I made background. Because Distress oxides react really awesome with water I made splatters and some of them I dried with paper tissue.
TIP: Always use watercolour paper – heavy weight – because applying Distress oxides and than splattering water can damage basic paper.
I removed tape – my trick – if tape is too hard glued and you are afraid of damaging paper – take heat tool and heat it up, lightly – that adhesive on masking tape will melt and you can remove it lightly.
I stamped image with Distress oxide and heat embossed it with sparkle clear embossing ink.
Again easy design with some funny techniques.
Have a nice day
Kate
