Happy Wednesday, Pink & Main friends!! Brenda here with you today sharing a card that features some of the images from the adorable Snowpals Stamp Set on a sparkly, foiled snowflake background!!
I stamped the snowmen and trees from the Snowpals Stamp Set onto Ice Rink cardstock using Asphalt ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and set them aside to work on the background.
I foiled a panel from the Snowflake Frames Foilable Panels with Silver Sparkle CheerFoil using my Minc. The panel was adhered to an A2 panel of dark blue cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Layered Rectangle A2 Die Set.. I die-cut a piece of the same dark blue cardstock with the third largest die in the Oblong Stitched Octagon Die Set, along with a piece of Ice Rink cardstock. The white octagon panel was die-cut with one of the dies in the Waves and Scallops Die Set to create the snowy hills and adhered to the blue octagon. It was splattered with diluted white ink and adhered to the foiled background, once it was dry.
A length of Stop Sign Twine was wrapped around the background and tied into a small bow. The sentiment, also from the Snowpals Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto Asphalt cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up, along with the snowmen, with foam tape. I added some snow to the snowmen with a white gel pen and some shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen and this card was finished.
I love these cute images with the sparkly, foiled background!! Looks like the perfect was to warm someone’s heart to me!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Wednesday!!
