Hi everyone! Samantha here today on the Pink and Main blog excited to share a sneak peek for the coming release arriving this Friday, November 22nd. I am sharing two cards I made featuring the new Snowmen Peekers Stamp Set along with the gorgeous new Winter Fun Foilables Sheets.
To start my two cards I first stamped my selected images from the Snowmen Peekers Stamp Set onto Copic X-Press it paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink before coloring them with my Copic markers. To add a fun detail I decided to also do a little paper piecing on the hat and scarf of each of my snowmen. First, I chose two complementary pieces of pattern paper from the World to Me 6×6 Paper Pack before again stamping my snowmen images onto each piece. Then, using my Copic Neutral Gray markers I added shadows to the plaid scarf and pink polka dot hat before fussing cutting out each item. Lastly, I die cut my Copic-colored images with the coordinating Snowmen Peekers Die Set, glued on my pattern paper accessories, and then set them both aside to work on my backgrounds.
I wanted the cards to coordinate, so I grabbed a snowflake patterned Foilable sheet from the Winter Fun Foilables Sheets and I cut it into two 4.25″ x 5.5″ panels. Next, I cut an A2 sized sheet each of the new Satin Aqua CheerFoil and Sparkle Silver CheerFoil, I placed the foil on top of my Foilable panels pretty side up, and ran them through my Mini Minc Foiling Machine.
Once my panels were complete, I trimmed them down each to 4″ x 5.25″ with my paper trimmer before mounting the Aqua snowflake panel onto an matching teal blue A2 cardstock panel and the Silver panel onto hot pink. Next, I grabbed my Reverse Scallop Square Dies, selected the 3″ square die, and I cut matching frames out of teal and hot pink cardstocks. The frames would both hold my sentiments and provide a border for my snowmen to peek around.
To finish things off, I cut two squares of white cardstock into 3″ x 3″ squares and stamped my sentiments in matching teal and hot pink inks before assembling my cards as shown. My teal card I designed to be a landscape shape and my pink and silver card a portrait and I mounted everything onto A2 folding white card bases.
Once everything was adhered as shown, including adding the snowmen with foam tape for dimension, I noticed I needed a little more embellishment. I took the heart dies from the Card Cut Essentials Set 1 Dies and I cut out hearts from both my hot pink card stock and my polka dot pattern paper and adhered them with foam tape as shown.
My cards are now complete and I just think they are the cutest!
