Hello Sunshine

Hi everyone! Samantha here today on the Pink and Main Blog excited to share a cute mini-slimline card featuring the new Flamillion Stamp Set from the latest June release.

To start my card, I first stamped several images from the Flamillion Stamp Set in black ink onto Copic Xpress-It paper. Next, I colored my images using Copic markers before die cutting them with the corresponding Flamillion Dies.

Next, I cut a piece of white cardstock 6.25″ x 3.25″ and gently ink blended a soft background in Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade where my images and sentiment would be placed to help ensure all of my elements popped. I also knew I wanted to keep this card pretty simple and highlight the sentiment, so I grabbed my Big Hello Dies from my stash and using the word die. I cut a “Hello” a few times from dark teal cardstock, which was later glued together for added dimension.

To finish my sentiment, I grabbed a “Hello Sunshine” from the Summer Fun Foilable Cut Ups and foiled the sentiment in Shattered Red Cheerfoil. I made sure to have the foil shiny side up over my Cut Up and ran it through my Mini Minc Foiling Machine. Once complete, I carefully cut off the “Hello” section of the foiled sentiment leaving me with just the “Sunshine” portion.

Once all of my elements were complete, I adhered my sentiment and images to my ink-blended card panel using both glue and foam tape. Next, using a paper trimmer, I cut a dark teal mat measuring 6.5″ x 3.5″ for my main card panel before attaching it all to a folded white card base.

I just think this card is so cute and fun for summer.
