Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great day! Today I’m sending smiles with the new Spill the Tea stamp set from Pink and Main! This set includes lots of tea themed images that are sure to have you smiling!
My card starts with a cheery background of mixed pattern papers from the Bright Botanicals 6×6″ Paper Pad. I usually cut a 4×5.25″ panel for my card base leaving 2″ strips of extra paper that are perfect for adding along the border and side of my design.
I used a Reverse Scallop Circle to create a focal point for the images. I added Vellum paper to the reverse of the circle to create a flat shaker that I added gold sequins to. The vellum allows you to still see the sequins, adding a little whimsy to the design.
The images were colored with alcohol markers that are great for blending. I kept the colors similar to the background papers to coordinate the design. The finishing touch was some glittery Let It Bee enamel dots.
