Hello, Pink & Main friends and fans!
It’s Savannah O’Gwynn, and I’m back with a colorful foiled birthday shaker card to help celebrate celebrate P&M‘s 10th birthday 🎉🎉
If you want to make cards that are “easy” to create—- just pair your Mini Minc Foiling machine, foilable sheets, and foilable cut-ups together for a FABULOUS background and card design!!! The NEW Birthday Backgrounds Foilable Sheets help make this card shine!! This party hat foilable and these birthday sentiments foilable cut-ups are so fun!! FUN & EASY— it can’t get any better than that;)
I tried a new-to-me technique for foiling— adding multiple colors to an image. Surprisingly it was VERY easy to do! However, you might notice that I had a few spots that didn’t take the foil. Didn’t surprise me as I’m still learning🙃 #embracingmistakes
Here’s how I created this two-tone foiled image:
- I foiled part of the bow with gold first
- Then I foiled the other half of the bow
- Then I ran the image through a final time with pink foil
To create the shaker I die cut a circle in my foiled background, added foam tape and a transparency, and then filled the hole with lots of the NEW confetti sequins. I used one layer of the NEW Stitched Circle Frames dies to add a pop of color over the shaker- and now I have several MORE circles to use on other cards or projects;) I love when I can use my “scraps”!
I love love love how easy this card was to make!
I hope my card inspires you to pull out your Mini Minc Foiling machine to create some birthday cards!!!
I’ll be back with MORE to share soon! Please remember to share what you create using these techniques, if you are learning to color with me, or if you use this P&M stamp/die set so I can leave you some love ❤️
THANKS so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!!!
Hugs ❤️ Savannah
