Hi friends, this is Caitlin and today I am sharing a super fun and bold Christmas card. I wanted to try something different from my normal style and I really love how this turned out. I think this would make a great “masculine” card but it could really be for anyone. I started out wanting to create a fun “wreath” style card front using the images from the Holiday Peeker Places Stamp Set.
I thought this would be such a fun and different way to use these in case you want to use them without the little Peeker stamps and they are so cute they can definitely stand on their own. I used the Gina K wreath builder to line up and stamp the images in my Misti (the wreath builder is available on Simon Says Stamp again). If you want to make a circular stamping template yourself you can see how I made my own live with Pink and Main here.
Once my images were stamped in the circular pattern around the top of my card, I used Copic Sketch Markers to color them in. I went with a traditional red and green color scheme with touches of gold to keep everything as warm as possible considering I was working on white card stock. To complete the image I added the small Be Merry sentiment from the Joy to the World Stamp Set to the center of the circle with red ink. I trimmed my panel to be 4 in x 5.25 in and added it to an A2 panel of Stop Sign Card Stock.
This card came together really quickly and is something you could definitely make multiple of at once, stamping and rotating multiple panels and then coloring everything after. I hope are having an amazing week and you can come hang out with me Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30pm eastern on Facebook or Youtube for more Pink and Main inspiration!
