Hey crafty friends, it’s Joy here. Have I mentioned how much I love Pink & Main’s Emboss and Cut Folders..well I do! I also love them when paired with Alcohol Inks. I used the Easter Basket Emboss and Cut Folder to create a super cute Easter basket and I cut the eggs from alcohol inked paper. Hope you love it!
I started by creating an alcohol inked background on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of photo paper (I used the non-glossy side). I used Pool, Lemonade, Gumball, Citrus and Valencia Alcohol inks. I made sections of colors on the paper and then trimmed it into 2 3/4″ pieces to fit in the embossing folder. I embossed and cut the eggs from the background.
Then I embossed and cut the basket from white cardstock. I wanted white, so it didn’t compete with the beautiful eggs I just colored.
I softly ink blended the background A2 card panel with green and blue inks. I stamped the sentiment from the Hippity Hoppity stamp set and trimmed it out with a paper trimmer. I used foam tape behind the basket and first layer of eggs. then I tucked in the top two eggs and adhered them down.
I added two more eggs at the bottom of the basket, then the sentiment with foam tape and added All Occasion Glitter Enamel Dots. I thought a bow would be cute on top of the basket, so I added a ribbon bow and finished with a Glitter Enamel Dot.
I hope you enjoyed this project, have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
