Hello friends – Bri here! I am back today to share a mini slimline card design featuring the Easter Joy set from Pink and Main. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this Spring project.
First I die cut the top three layers of the white, lilac, and light green cardstock with the Mod Stitched Mini Slim Dies. The bottom dark green layer is cut to 3.5″ x 6″ for the mini slimline card size. The top white layer is embossed with the Cobblestone Embossing Folder. I used Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink to accent the 3D layer. I discovered it’s a lot easier to add color to the embossing folder if you use one of those roller brushes. Once the top layer was dry, I glued the four layers together with liquid adhesive.
Next, I heat embossed the “Easter Blessings” sentiment with white embossing powder onto the lilac cardstock. I used Shaded Lilac Distress ink to shade the sentiment die cut and glued it to the card front. I used my Copic markers to color the floral accents and tucked them behind the sentiment. For finishing touches, I added green enamel dots from the All Occasion Glitter Enamel Dots.
Thank you for stopping by the blog. Overall this card gives me a garden patio vibe which is perfect for Spring! I really hope this floral project inspires you today.
