Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here from donnaisplayingpaper, finally back home ( for now) in Australia, It’s been a big couple of months. I’ve travelled about 15 thousand miles, and only spent a few weeks at home since the start of the year.
I have a really soft Spring card to share with you today, that uses the sweetest little stamp.
The hero of this card is a small stamp called Welcome Spring. This set has two little full coverage bunnies and a sentiment. You could stamp the rabbits in black over a soft background for a gorgeous card, or do what I’ve done today, which is to stamp in pastel colours for a soft spring rabbit. I used a stamping platform and used a sponge dauber to add the inks to my stamp, so that I could stamp several times in the same place, using one colour at a time, and overlapping the colours slightly. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I then cut out the panel using one of the Notched Corners dies. I wanted a slightly longer thinner panel, so I partially cut each end by offsetting the plates of my die cutting machine. The machine will only cut where there are two plates, so that allows you to change the shapes of your dies.
The background paper is from a paper pack called Happy. This pad has a bunch of fun florals and geometrics, and includes this fun plaid paper. I also added some Enamel dots from a set called Dragonfly Dreams. This would be an easy card to make in multiples if you’re thinking of making Easter cards.
I hope that you are having a wonderful week, and I look forward to sharing more cards with you soon. Until then, stay safe.
Blessings,
