Welcome Pink & Main friends… Annette Allen here with you today and I am all about butterflies and flowers. I am loving the January release and all the fun cards that I can create with it.
Today’s card was created using Pink & Main…
- Bear Hugs Stamp Set
- Bear Hugs Dies
- Square Frames Dies
- Dotted Cover Dies
- Pretty Butterflies Embossing Folder
- Large Sentiment Strip Dies
- Premium Cardstock Barbershop and Salon
- Foam Tape
Create card from cardstock A2 size.
Emboss the Pretty Butterflies on a piece of Barbershop premium cardstock and die cut using only the frame from the Dotted Cover dies.
Using white ink and a foam pad, light rub the white ink across the embossed background. You only want the ink to rub onto the butterflies. This helps to highlight the embossed butterflies on the darker cardstock.
Adhered the butterfly background to your card using P&M EZ Squeeze Craft Glue. Make sure to center it the best you can.
Stamp these sweet images from the Bear Hugs stamp set and color using your favorite medium. I used Copic Sketch markers.
Die cut the images using the coordinating dies.
Die cut the Square Frames of your choice on a piece of Salon premium cardstock.
Adhered the die cut frame to your card. Add the foam tape to the decorative frame only. The middle of the frame adhere using EZ Squeeze Craft Glue so it is flat and only the frame has dimension.
Add foam tape to your colored Bear Hugs images and create your scene.
Stamp the sentiment from the Bear Hugs stamp set and then die cut using one of the Large Sentiment dies and then adhere the sentiment to the card using EZ Squeeze Craft Glue.
Finishing up with a little white gel pen here and there.
These images are so sweet and that butterfly embossing folder is outstanding…
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend.
