Hey crafty friends, It’s Joy here and I created a CAS by accident..haha. I had every intention to color the butterfly but, when I laid it on the heart embossed background, I knew that I needed to keep it white. Adding a dry embossed background gives the card texture and interest. I used two embossing folders, one is an emboss and cut folder along with alphabet dies to create this Valentine’s card. Hope you enjoy.
I started with the background and used the Many Hearts 6×6 Folder. I really love this folder because, it has open and closed hearts. I decided to highlight the open hearts, by coloring them with a Copic Marker (R37). Then I used the Butterflies emboss and cut folder. I cut one of the butterflies twice. One from white and one from red cardstock.
I trimmed the body of the butterfly from the red cut butterfly and adhered that to the white cut butterfly. I also die cut the word “love” from the Thin Alpha Dies three times and adhered them to each other for dimension. I adhered the butterfly and the sentiment with liquid glue to the A2 card panel.
Hope you enjoyed this Clean And Simple card. Have a wonderful day!
