Harvest Blessing For You

Hi Friends!! Halloween may be over but I am not ready to let go of fall yet! I love being able to send out cards for Thanksgiving and to take some with me for the Hostess when we go to see family for the holiday. I wanted to make a clean and simple card to share with you today that would work perfectly for that and I had a lot of fun adding in different layers and textures to it to keep it fun.

I started out with a side folding A2 sized card base but turned it for a horizontal card. I added a panel of the orange and white pattern from the Pumpkin Season Paper Pack for a little pop of color. The next layer I added was white card stock trimmed down to 5.25 in x 4 in that I pressed with the Micro Dots Embossing Folder. I am so in love with the texture that this folder gives to the card stock and it goes with literally any theme. I added this layer with liquid glue flat because there was going to be a lot of dimension coming next. To create a little stage for my feature image, I used the new Wide Stitched Arches dies to cut a layer from white card stock and the Pebble Card stock. I adhered them together with liquid glue but I added them to the main panel with a layer of foam tape to pop them up. I stamped my sentiment directly onto the white arch layer with black ink just above the stitching.

To create my main little scene, I used some scraps of Pebble Card stock with the Fall Leaves Emboss and Cut folder to cut three of the leaves out and glued them in an arched shape onto the card. Then I stamped out the little pumpkin mouse image from the Fall Mice stamp set with alcohol friendly ink and colored it in with Copic Sketch markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut him out and used liquid glue to add him right onto of those leaves. I love how this card turned out and it would be a really easy one to make multiples of, assembly line style.
