Ilina here! I can’t believe that the summer is about to be over and we are heading into Fall. I think Fall is my favorite season. And, speaking of Fall the latest release is actually focused on Fall and Fall crafting.
For today’s card I used the Leafy Dies #2 die, and combined it with the Micro Dots Embossing folder and a sentiment from the Bold Leaves stamp set.
To make the card I started by embossing the background. Once done, I cut it to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and set it aside.
Next die cut the leaf detailed die from Gold cardstock and the backing from a piece of card stock that I previously applied green and yellow inks to using my gel press. I adhered these two pieces together and let them dry under heavy acrylic block (or anything heavy you have around) so it stays flat.
White the die cuts were drying, I stamped sentiment on kraft paper and embossed using Frosting embossing powder. Once done I die cut it using the coordinating die and assembled the panel that then I adhered to a top folding white note card.
