Hi Friends! This is Caitlin from Caitlin Annalee Cards, and I wanted to celebrate the official start of summer with a very tropical and summery card. I am so in love with the new June Release and I really wanted to use multiple sets for a summer-mash up. To help me narrow down a color pallet and solid starting point, I began by searching through the different designs in the Inked Oasis Paper Pack and I decided on a blue/teal/green combo that gave me the feeling of a tropical lagoon. I trimmed that paper down to be 3.75 in x 5 in and adhered it to an A2 sized panel of Pebble Card stock (4.25 in x 5.5 in).
I stamped out the boarder-style floral image from the Aloha Flowers Stamp Set twice with an alcohol safe ink as well as the larger single flower from that set and the palm trees and beach chair stamp from the Summer Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set. I used my Copic Sketch markers to color in all of the images adding in some RV and V shades to create some colorful pops and using a G and BG markers to help tie everything back to the paper I chose. I cut out all of the images with the coordinating dies and then it was time to pick a sentiment.
I absolutely love that the sentiments in the Aloha Flowers Stamp Set come with coordinating dies and so I stamped out the Hello Beautiful sentiment with Seedless Preserves Oxide Ink and die cut it out. I think this really helps to create such a clean and cohesive look with the while boarder being around every image on the card. I adhered everything down the card flat for easier shipping and love how saturated and fun this card came out.
