Hello everyone! Justin here from Just a Note by Justin, and today I couldn’t be more excited to be sharing my very first blog as an official member of the Pink & Main Design Team! I just adore this company, and am continuously impressed by the talented Design Team. It means so much to be a part of this team!
For my very first project, I am sharing a project that I created using the Snow Sweet 2 stamp set to create an all-wintery thank you card, featuring an aqua, blue and gray palette! I colored up 3 of these cuties using my Copic Markers, and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out! I also used some Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops to add a little sparkle to these snow friends as well!
I wanted to use a few of the snowflake stamps from the Snow Sweet 2 set for embellishment on the card as well, so I stamped those out using aqua, blue & gray inks, and then used the Coordinating Dies once more to cut them out.
Next, it was time to begin focusing on the background. Using the Plaid Cover Dies Bundle, I used Panel A to die cut a panel of blue cardstock, and Panel B to die cut a panel of Aqua Glitter Paper from the Spring Glitter Paper Pack. I also took a piece of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad and trimmed it down to A2-sized. The design I used was the white background with the aqua, baby blue, and purple arrow head designs. It fit perfectly with my colors!
Using EZ Squeeze Craft Glue, I adhered the Aqua Glitter Paper Panel B on top of my patterned paper panel. I then used the EZ Squeeze Craft Glue to adhere my Blue Paper Panel A on top of my Glitter Paper Panel B.
I used the Craft Glue to adhere my snow friends together, placed some foam tape on the back and adhered them to my card panel. I then stamped the sentiment “Thanks snow much” in blue ink on aqua cardstock, trimmed it to a strip and adhered it with foam tape. I used more Craft Glue to adhere my snowflakes to my card panel, and then used the Craft Glue to adhere my card to an A2-sized panel.
