Happy Tuesday Friends! Katie here again for your daily inspiration.
Today I am featuring the Homespun Christmas Card Kit. This is such a fun and versatile kit with so many amazing elements- the stamps, dies, the stencil, cardstock, designer papers, foil sheets, sequins and glitter dots, and it all comes in the zippered mesh pouch. What an awesome package and such a great price.
For today’s card, I used one of the stamps and dies from set. I colored the image with Copics (R37, R35, R14, YG17, YG25, YG11, G09, B03, R24, R22, RV42, E00, Y15, Y13, B000). Once that was done, I used the paper from the pack and cut it using the Modern Stitched Rectangles. I mounted that on the red base with a green strip using the EZ Tear Tape. I stamped the sentiment on some green and cut it with the smallest rectangle to mount along the top. Then I added my image in with some foam tape. Lastly, I added some of the sequins from the kit using glue dots.
It is a pretty simple card to make but it is pretty and makes for a nice holiday card. I like the peachy colored poinsettia and paper, it is just fun and mixes it up.
I hope you like this card. Thank you for visiting and be sure to check out Facebook and Instagram for more inspiration.
