Flocked Rainbow

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Today I am playing with the new Pink and Main glitter and regular flock! So MUCH FUN! I used the Rainbow friend die set to create my focal point of the card and different flock colors.

To make the card start with covering A2 panel of card stock with double sided adhesive. I used the 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ adhesive sheets. Cover the panel on both sides. Also cover a second panel just on one side. Die. cut them both using the main die from the set. The panel that was covered only on one side was die cut into the adhesive (the adhesive was in front, not back as typical).

Cut piece of white card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″. Remove the back side adhesive from the piece that had both side covered with adhesive. Remove the scalloped edge and adhere to the panel. Leave the adhesive on top for now.

Next take the pieces from the second die cut and apply flock. I get best results by taking one piece and putting it on coffee filter or scrap piece of paper (printer paper) and pouring flock to cover it up. Next using firm pressure I press it into the adhesive and rub it in. Remove the excess and pour it back in the jar.

I adhered the flocked pieces one by one to the panel, by removing the backing on the adhesive only on the piece I was adhering at the time.

I used the following flock colors: Fuzzy Monster, Sparkling Monarch, Monarch, Fuzzy Mittens, Sparkling Chickadee, Chickadee, Sparkling Grandpa’s slippers, Sparkling In the Clouds, Royal Robe, Astroturf and Sparkling Cottontail.

Once I had the scene complete I stamped a sentiment from the Sending Cheer stamp set and adhered to a black note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
