also this week I have for you mixed media card. I used Witch house stamp set. I wanted to make dark night and witch house standing lonely somewhere and many bats are flying around.
I worked on watercolour paper, background is made with three Lindy’s stamp gang sprays, really just sprays and water. They can be mixed together and make gorgeous effect. I used two tone sprays and that means than with basic colour there is something more – something like shimmering powder – in sprays. So my card is also shimmering.
On my coloured background I applied light paste from Finnabair through star stencil. Light paste when it dries is little bit clear so my stars are like live.
I stamped main image with Versa Mark onyx black ink and coloured it with basic watercolour pencils. For edges I used Distress ink – for not to have so white edges after fussy cutting. Main image is glued with 3D foam tape.
I stamped all bats with Versa Mark, with white gel Sakura pen I painted their eyes so they are little bit glowing in the dark.
