Hello! It’s Laurie with you this morning to share a very dimensional card using A LOT of new products from the latest release! I cannot get enough of these amazing stamps and dies!
The new Holiday Scene Dies is a MASSIVE set that makes it easy for you to create little dioramas to send out for Christmas. I paired these dies with the Fa La Llama stamps and co-ordinating dies. I have to admit, this stamp set is my favourite!
I coloured up these images with alcohol markers in the traditional red and green Christmas colours. I rarely use red and green for my holiday cards and I’m starting to wonder why? I love it!
The base is so easy to assemble. Just cut out the pieces you want to use, in this case I used the base, the snowbanks, the stitched panel and the “happy holidays” sentiment. Like I said, this set is very big with a ton of dies! With just a couple of tabs to put adhesive on, this card comes together quickly!
I think the Fa La Llama stamp set is scaled perfectly for this die set. And likely a whole bunch of other P&M sets, too!! I added some “snow” using a stencil from my stash and some blue ink. I inked up the die cut sentiment in the same colour.
I initially only had the llama and the presents on the card but decided it looked a little bare. So I took out the berry branch image from the new Holiday Wreaths Stamp Set, stamped it out, coloured them and used the co-ordinating die to cut them out.
I think they filled in the gaps well and look really cute! I added some sparkle details as well as some shine with some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to a few bits and pieces.
And that’s it for me today! I hope you all have a great day and a great weekend! Thank you so much for dropping by!
Laurie
