Welcome back, friends! It’s Laurie here to share a card made using my favourite new release stamp set…Fa La Llama! This set is absolutely adorable and so much fun!
I started by colouring up one of the llamas along with a couple gifts and a few of the Christmas ornaments. I used the co-ordinating dies to cut everything out. Again, I used basically non-traditional colours. But I did throw in a green there!!
I foam mounted all the images onto a panel cut with one of the Stitched Rectangle Set 2 dies after lightly inking it with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I placed the focal panel onto a white card base but decided it needed just a bit more!! I layered the panel onto a piece of gorgeous paper from the new Be Merry 6X6 Paper Pad. It was better but I wanted more!
I took a light grey ink and repeatedly stamped the presents and the ornament images directly onto the cardbase. I added some dots in-between with a small circle stamp I had in my stash. It’s a busier background than I usually make but I love the way it turned out!
I did add some sparkle to a few areas with a glitter pen but didn’t want to add too much more detail to this card! I hope you enjoyed my project for you today! And I also hope you are able to pick up some of the incredible release!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Laurie
