Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m sharing a really clean and simple card for some card making inspiration. A simple card can be achieved by using designer paper and a simple stamp set. Let me show you.
For today’s card I used only a few items but my card has a ton of WOW factor. For my background I used the new Summer Splash 6×6 paper pad. I die cut out banner using the Large Fish Tail Banner dies to get the perfect chevron backdrop. Next I stamped the You’ve Got This sentiment from the Going Places stamp set in black ink on this banner piece. I stamped a smaller sentiment from the same stamp set onto lime green paper and die cut it out with the new Sentiment Strip dies. I popped this sentiment up on foam dots and added it to the same panel.
Next I grabbed a larger piece of that lime green card stock and placed it on a card base. I added the chevron piece to the card and viola I have a clean and simple card with little effort.
To add a little bit of interest, I adhered just two sequins to frame out the sentiments on the card. Now how easy was that? Pulling beautiful paper from the Summer Splash and just a few other elements a quick and easy card is ready for the mail.
