Sending Paper Hugs

Hi, everyone! I’m usually not a lover of patterned paper – but the Pen Pals paper pad from Pink & Main has completely stolen my heart! It’s almost gone! *Gasp!*

The patterns and colors in the Pen Pals 6 x 6 paper pad are perfect! I love that there are a variety of polka dots, stripes, chevrons, and cute critters! And there’s one sheet of paper that can be cut apart and used as focal points! I’ve made so many cards with this paper pad just using paper!
I trimmed down one of the pieces of the Pen Pals patterned paper to be my focal image. I just love the mix of bold and script fonts with the tiny little envelopes! Then I grabbed my Postage Dies and used the largest die to cut the striped paper and the second largest die to cut the polka dotted paper. I added the striped paper flat onto my card and popped up the dotted paper and the focal image with foam tape. I trimmed a bit off the bottom of my card to keep the border even.
I hope you’ve all had time to play with your Pen Pals paper pad and Postage Dies! They pair together so well! See you soon!
