You’re Fintastic

Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m sharing the most adorable card using the new Fantastic stamp set. This is one of the cutest fish stamp sets I have seen in some time. It really is FIN-TAS-TIC.

For my card today I wanted it to have an interactive component to it. I wanted my fish to swim his way across the card. To start I pulled out the Fintastic fish bowl die cut it twice from light blue card stock. I stamped out a few pieces of the greenery to fit on the inside of the bowl and colored it with Copic markers. I took the inside piece and die cut a channel to have my fish swim along. Next I stamped out the sentiment on the top portion of the bowl and stacked the two outside bowl pieces together. Next I added some double sided foam tape around the edges of my putter bowl and set it aside.

I stamped and colored two of the adorable fish from this set with my Copic markers. The fish that will swim across my bowl was stamped out twice. The extra fish will sit behind the front fish.

Now it was time to assemble my card. For my card background I used a piece of designer paper from the new Shores 6×6 paper pad and ran it through my die cut machine with a bubble circle embossing folder. I trimmed this piece down to fit a white card base. Next I placed the outside of the fish bowl onto the front of this piece. I inserted one of the inside die cut pieces inside of the bowl. I stacked my fish one on top of the other using a spacer to keep the separated. I added more double sided foam take to the top inside piece leaving room around the channel part. I carefully placed my fish into the channel and pushed down the inside piece onto the card front. Now my little fish can swim along the channel I created.

For the extra fish, I popped him up on a foam dot to mimic him jumping out of the bowl. I stamped just a few bubbles in versa mark inside the bowl and adde some clear bubble stones for just a few embellishments. I used my wink of stella for some shimmer on the fishes and the inside of the fish bowl.

That’s my card for today. I hope you enjoyed how this card came out and are inspired to make your own Fintastic card. We would love to see what you create so make sure to post your project over on the Facebook Pink and Main Creations Gallery. Have a great day everyone.
