Inlay Diecutting with Diggity Dog

Hello, again!  It’s Andrea back with you to share a card featuring one of those adorable dogs from Diggity Dog.  Aren’t they too cute?!

A cute dog and some pretty plaid make me a happy girl!  I just love the gorgeous papers in the Sunrise Paper Pad!  After I had picked out my paper, I Copic-colored my doggy to match and used the coordinating die to cut her out.  As I’m wont to do, I added highlights with a white gel pen and brushed on some clear sparkle.

I trimmed a strip of plaid paper to 2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″ and die-cut it with the Sweet Dies.  I also die-cut three words from yellow cardstock.  After adhering the plaid strip to a white card, I layered the yellow and plaid die-cuts together, tucking the plaid bits into the negative spaces.  I white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Hello Sweet stamp set onto a strip of black cardstock and added it above my die-cut sentiment.

I popped up that cute pup with foam tape and adhered a strip of pink cardstock beneath her.  A scattering of clear sequins finishes the card.

Have a great day!
