You are the Rainbow on my Cloudy Day

I have a sunny card for you today using a couple of different products from the new Pink and Main release.

I love it when products work together so well and that’s exactly what’s happening here with this card.

Firstly, the card uses the Bright Side stamp set. I stamped the images in Copic friendly black ink and coloured them using all my happiest Copic colours. The clouds were coloured using very pale blues (B000 and B0000) just to give them a little blush of colour.

Next, I worked on the background panel. I first embossed some clouds onto a sheet of white card using the cloud dies from both the Bright Side dies, and Rainbow Dies and my die cutting machine with an embossing mat. The dies in these two sets are different sizes, so they give a lovely range of clouds. I then used one of the Stitched Rectangles dies to cut the panel and give it a border.

I used a white card base, and popped up the panel, then added the coloured elements to the card using foam tape, and allowing a few of them to hang over the edges of the panel. I love the double layers of clouds with some embossed and some coloured.
