Hey, everyone! It´s Lynnea! I´m so excited for this month´s release from Pink & Main! Sneaks are in full swing and the release will be live TOMORROW- April 23rd! Yay!! Until then I have another card using the new release – this time with one of my favorite stamp sets – Wonderland! This card uses only one image from the stamp set, but I think you´ll be able to guess the theme!
Seriously the Wonderland stamp set is AMAZING! It´s a larger 6 x 6 stamp set and has a bunch of cute characters and coordinating sentiments! I decided to do one of my favorite designs – a repeatedly stamped watercolored background!
I chose one of my favorite sentiments and images from the Wonderland stamp set and stamped the cat all over a piece of watercolor cardstock. I used only two colors of ink to watercolor my cat and added water to dilute the color to get different shades. I added some flicks of black watercolor all over my background. I love this look! I think it gives some texture and interest to an otherwise simple background. I debated over whether to put my sentiment strip in the middle or right side of my card and ultimately ended up placing it on foam tape at the bottom right of my card.
To finish off the card I added some Rose Gold Glossy Dots above and below my sentiment strip. These glossy dots are becoming one of my most used embellishments! I love them! Thanks for stopping by today! Remember that the April release is coming tomorrow!!
