What A Hoot

Hey everyone. It’s Dana with you today. I’m sharing a sweet birthday card using the Pink and Main What A Hoot stamp set and coordinating dies. This set is full of adorable owl images to dress up your birthday cards.

For my card I colored this adorable owl with my Faber Castell color pencils in shades of brown. I then colored up the box with green and blue color pencils. Using the coordinating dies I cut out the image and set it aside. I pulled out my Celebrate designer paper from Pink and Main to add fun color to my card base. This is a scrap piece of paper that was used to cut out the large fish tail banner dies and added it to the top of my card base. Next I used another scrap of paper to add a border along the bottom of my card.

I pulled out one of the sentiments from the stamp set and stamped it in black ink. Next I popped up my little owl using 3M foam tape and added just a few glossy dots from the Birthday Boy set.

This is a quick and easy card you can definitely recreate for some last minute birthday cards. Matching your color pencils first to the paper also helps speed up the process. Have a great day everyone and we will see you back here soon.
