Warm Hugs

Hi Everyone! Mindy here today from Mindy Eggen Design.  It started snowing here (no!) … so it sort of put me in the mood to make this card with the super sweet Warm Hugs stamp set.
Ya know how you get a paper pack and you want to buy TWO of them because it’s so pretty you don’t want to cut it up…? Well… that is this paper pack from Pink & Main. Seriously!! These papers are amazing!!! I’m head over heels in love and it killed me to cut the paper lol ….
I started my card by stamping my sweet penguin from Warm Hugs onto some Neenah white solar cardstock using Simon Says Stamp black ink. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die and colored with my copic markers. I also stamped a few hearts from this stamp set with the new amazing ink pads.
I am using a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white cardbase and attached a piece of this beautiful plaid paper from the Frosty pack. My plaid panel measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. I had some scraps from this plaid piece I cut down and since it’s double sided I flipped it over and cut a strip for my white card panel on top of the plaid.
I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Hugs stamp set using black ink and my Misti tool.
I also made this adorable bow from the Medium Bow Die. They come in 3 sizes and are just the cutest thing ever!
Copics Used
Penguin Body – N8-6-5-4, C2-1-0
Earmuffs/Scarf – V17-15-12, B05-04-02
