Warm Christmas wishes

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with a Clean and Simple Christmas card, but with a lot of added details which can take a simple card to the next level. Let me share my tips with you.

I started with stamping the pretty decorated palm trees from the Deck the palms stamp set, coloured the image with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I used masking paper to create an open circle mask on a top folding white card base and used the clouds stencil to create the sky with Skyscraper Surface ink. To make the clouds a bit more dreamy I went back on the whole circle with the ink blending tool without reinking it. It made the lines so smooth and soft.

I die cut the Christmas sentiment (Merry Christmas dies) from metallic green cardstock and adhered it to the card. I love to step up my cards using specialty paper for die cut sentiments. I also stamped “warm wishes” from the Deck the palms stamp set using Stop sign Surface ink.

And the fun part comes after mounting the palms to the card with 3D foam squares. I added some clear shimmer to the light bulbs and covered them with glossy accents. After it was dry, I added liquid glue to some parts of the stockings and covered them with Polar White Flower Soft. It makes them look fluffy. These little details add so much to an otherwise simple design.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and you will try my tricks. Until next time, happy crafting!
