Valetine cards by Kate

Hi,

I am playing with new release and all new products are so nice and cute, that for next three weeks I will have for you just valentines cards. For today I have the first ones.

On my first card I played with in laid die cutting, it is so fun technique! The first and base layer is stamped watercolour paper – I used Polka Hearts background stamp – I stamped with WOW embossing ink and I use white embossing powder. Than I took Boutiquie surface ink and ink applicator and I applied ink all over my background. So I created my own patterned paper. Than I die cut from it the biggest heart from Double Stitched Heart Dies. Next steps were just die cutting with heart dies and in laid die cutting technique, I added plain watercolour paper to have contrast on my image. When I was done with die cutting background I die cut sentiment Together with Together  Dies and I stamped word Forever from Together Forever stamp set with black ink. Final touch I made with heart which was rest from die cutting, I glued it under sentiment with 3D foam square.

My second card is very simple. I stamped on watercolour paper super cute images from Hedgehugs stamp set – I used Versa Fine onyx black ink. Than I coloured them with Winsor Newton watercolour markers. I got those markers for my Birthday and I love them. They are really professional and the most super is that they are ligh fastness – Winsor Newton guarantee 100 years without loosing colour. I am very impressed and I will see if it is truth in some time. Thank I die cut images with Hedgehug Dies. I glued patterned paper with cute hearts on my no-card – I used My Heart 6×6 Paper Pad. Than I stamped sentiment with black ink and with 3D foam dots I glued my images. It is really simple but I love how it looks like.

So this is all for today. I hope you will be inspired and that you will try some new products.

I wish you MERRY CHRISTMAS

Kate
