Travel Buddy Stamp Set

Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you. I’m so excited about the sneak peeks this week. The June 2019 release is going to be amazing. So let me give you a peek of my card using the Travel Buddy stamp set

I don’t make a lot of scene cards but when I do I want them to be this much fun. I stamped out my little girl from the Travel Buddy stamp set and stamped out a little town to have her zooming through. To start my card I stamped out my little girl onto Copic Xpress It paper and colored her with Copic markers. Next I made a mask for her to keep her clean while I stamped out the map and homes. I also masked the map so it would be in front of the homes. Then I drew on the street and curb. I decided to add some sky color behind my homes so I carefully masked them out and sponged on a light layer of distress ink. I colored each home in a happy color and added in some grass using the tip of my Copic marker to make sure I achieved the blades of grass and not just a green flat color. I used gray shades of markers for my street.

Once I was complete with the scene, it was time to build up the card. I pulled out the soon to be released Reversed Scallop rectangles dies to make this the border around the image. I carefully glued it this frame over my image and set it side to dry while I worked on my sentiment. I stamped out one of the sentiments from the set onto white card stock with black ink. I trimmed down this piece and placed it over one of the homes. I didn’t want to stamp the sentiment directly on the card as I wanted to pull in some white onto the scene piece. All that was left was to add a card base. I used a white card base for this card as it wasn’t really going to be seen behind this pretty panel. I added just a few colorful gems to this card and it was now complete.

Here is a closeup of my card. Isn’t she just the cutest? I added some white gel pen for some interest to her dress and the scooter. I truly Loe how this card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure to swing back by tomorrow to see what there other ladies have in store for you. Have a great day everyone.

This is just adorable. I have a Vespa scooter that I ride around town when the weather is nice, so this reminds me of ME! Love this
