Tickled Pink – Getting more from your die sets.

Hey lovelies, it is Tracy here with you today sharing a card using the Winter Wreath Decor Die Set.

I wanted to show that just by using one of the small dies from this set you can create a fun card and also show that you can more from your die sets by using the smaller, more often overlooked dies.

I have used the small bulb die from the set along with a sentiment from Deck The Palms Stamp set.

I used 3 different shades of Pink card and die cut them all out using the small die, I also die cut the gold glitter card. This die cuts the bulb as a whole so once this was done I needed to go through and snip the gold end and adhered it too the bulbs.

Once that was done I worked out where I was going to put the bulbs and adhered some gold thread around the card and added some pink shading using Distress Oxide ink.

I loved this sentiment from the Deck The Halls Stamp set and stamped them in black for some contrast.

I then used Glue Dots Mini Dots to adhere all the bulbs in place, some of the bulbs I “shaped” with my fingers to add some dimension.

For interest I also added some white gel pen detailing to each bulb and then adhered the whole panel to a white note card using Glue Dots.

This was such a fun card to create and has SO many possibilities, plus it means you can stretch that die set a little bit further. Id love to use these for a summer party themed card or maybe even a wedding/congratulations card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you liked the card.

Have an amazing day & happy crafting.
